VICTORY!

I am OFFICIALLY done with chemotherapy! As of Tuesday 2/13 at 2:00pm, no more chemo medication (at least for a long while)! The hardest phase, or what I hope is the hardest phase, is finished. And I couldn’t have done it without all of the support from my family and friends:
My amazing husband, with me every step of the way, keeping me strong
My family back at home, holding down the fort and keeping the munchkins alive
My friends, cheering me on from near and far

I received the most wonderful surprise homecoming today. Seeing my kids and friends and family as we exited the terminal was the most amazing feeling. I was flooded with so much love and relief when I realized I was actually home! And then, when we finally got back to the house, I found a sunshine box from my friends and co-workers in Warsaw, NY. The love and support really does surround me and I am so grateful for all of it, for each one of you. Every card and prayer and text message keeps me strong and helps me stay positive. And I hope I give you all just a little light and positivity in return!

Here’s to a couple weeks of recuperating and then I take on radiation!
