I’m still in the hospital. It turns out I had severe neutropenia and got a common cold bacteria. As long as my white blood cell count keeps improving, they’re hoping to release me tomorrow. I’m not sure what that means for being able to finally come home for a few days. One day at a time. For now, I’m just looking forward to a regular pillow and no more hospital food!
